6G’s Of A  Membership & Dues Policy
Terms and Definitions Used:
ACTIVE MEMBER:
An active member is any and all individuals who have paid their membership fees for the current year.
INACTIVE MEMBER:
Any person who paid their membership fees within the last 2 yrs, but has not paid for the current year.
GUEST: 
1. A guest is any person who has never been a member of the 6g’s league.
OR,
2. A previous member who is no longer an active or inactive member of the 6gs league.

Policy:
1.  ACTIVE MEMBER
Membership fee is $20 per year and is due prior to the end of the first calendar month of the New Year.  
Fees may be mailed to the League Treasurer to meet the date requirement! If the member still does not pay his/her membership fee
by the specified time, they will be considered an INACTIVE MEMBER.

All members are required to provide contact information in the form of email address and/or phone number.
Any member, who does not wish this information be posted on the web page, may request that the info be
maintained by the Treasurer and only released upon a request by a tournament director.
2.  INACTIVE MEMBER:
To resume League play, the inactive member will be required to become an ACTIVE MEMBER by paying their membership fee.
The membership fee is then required to be paid BEFORE they can play in the next tournament.

All tournament directors are required to review all event sign ups with the League Data page. The members’ fees, that have not
been paid, will be required to bring those fees current before the member will be allowed to play in the event.
3.   GUEST:
 A Guest will be allowed to play only 2 times per year.  To continue to play they will be required to become an ACTIVE MEMBER
by paying their membership fee.
4.  MEMBERSHIP FEE:
Depending on the time of the year that you join, the dues options are as follows:

Option 1:  $20 prior to July 1st, which covers your membership to the end of the current calendar year.

Option 2:  $10 after July 1st, which covers your membership to the end of the current calendar year.

Option 3:  If you join the league on/after November 1st you can select option 2) OR you can pay $20 and that will cover
your membership thru the end of the NEXT calendar year.
5.    LEAGUE HANDICAPS:
Only the handicaps of ACTIVE MEMBERS will be maintained.
All inactive members’ data will be maintained on the League books for a maximum of 24 months before being deleted.
Following 24 months any previous inactive member that wants to play, will have to requalify their handicap and pay their
membership fee.

6.   EVENT SIGN UPS PRIORITY PROTOCOL:
6gs policy when a golf course’s allowed number, of tee times for 6gs is less than the number of 6gs signups for that event!

A. First, we contact the course and ask them for additional tee times to allow all our signups to play.

B. If the course can’t accommodate us with enough additional tee times to equal our sign ups. The following priority
system is used to determine which member sign ups are included in the event.

PRIORITY RANKINGS FOR 6GS TOURNAMENTS:

Priority #1
League Officers always have first right of sign up.

Priority #2
Current* members who played in the previous week’s tournament. However, if this number of sign ups exceeds
the max sign up limit of the next tournament additional priority ranking will be invoked. Those member sign ups
with the fewest rounds played, (excluding league officers) for the last yr + current yr are dropped until the
max number is achieved

Priority #3
Current* members who signed up in advance of the last weeks tournament for the current week tournament.
These members should be advised by the Tournament Director that sign ups in advance of 1 week do not guarantee
a Tee time if the sign ups from the previous weeks tournament exceeds the Max limit allowed.

Priority #4
Guests – Are Allowed after all members sign up requests have been satisfied. However, a guest whose sign up makes
The pairings pubished at noon on Monday, will not be cut for a late member request.

Note: Current* is defined as current with all league dues.

Tournament Directors will follow these Priority Ranking when it becomes necessary to prioritize sign ups
for a 6gs tournament and always have the final disposition for other factors not covered previosly.
